Postdispensaries are closing over funds deficiency

Rawalpindi:

Pakistan Post has begun to close its dispensers and medical centers in Rawalpindi because of the prevailing economic and economic crisis.

Working with dispensers and medical centers has been practically completed due to cessation of delivery of medicine and medical devices for many years. The boards associated with dispensary and medical centers have also been dissolved.

All staff at the Medical Center confirmed the termination of the Medical Center and Dispensary and said that doctors and senior workers have been discharged, the raw materials for any test, including X -rays, are also depleted. “The Board of Directors of the Medical Center has been removed from us, while all equipment, creators and other things in the medical center have been transformed into unwanted and stored in a room,” they said. Due to the crisis with a serious lack of funds, 20 percent of post offices in Rawalpindi district have been closed.

The staff is sitting on their hands. The only women’s doctor in the medical center located in Rawalpindi has been dismissed from his job due to lack of funds, and it has been decided to convert the medical center building to an officer’s residence whose preparations and decoration are started. A few days ago, storage cabinets for medical equipment and emergency departments were also removed. The treatment and medical tests of Pakistan Post staff at the Medical Center are also interrupted.

The officials present in the Medical Center said that for years there were a large number of doctors who had been sent in dispensers and medical centers in all post circles across the country. “A significant number of employees provided services. But due to the closure of funds and inaccessibility of medicine, test sets and X -ray equipment, there is a situation of extreme anxiety and uncertainty among the staff because no decision has been made to the future of the staff,” they said. It is not possible to change the medical cadres, including dispensers and technicians to any other cades at the institution.

According to the employees in the past, the plan to run Rawalpindi Medical Center in collaboration with the private sector was considered, but now it has also been completed because no party has come from the private sector. According to the staff, the officer that the building of Rawalpindi Medical Center is allocated is not even placed in this circle.
