Islamabad:
Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar emphasized the government’s obligation to make balanced decisions that maintain financial discipline without putting unnecessary burden on the public.
DPM/FM was chairman of a meeting to review questions related to the electricity sector.
The meeting attended the Ministers of Power and Oil, SAPM Tariq Bajwa, secretary power and senior officials from the Ministries of Finance and Power, DPM Office said in a press release on Saturday.
Discussions focused on key aspects of the electricity sector with emphasis on economic sustainability and consumer protection.
