Launch 11 February 2025
H2 -CHIP, Slimmer Design and Pulse Tracking
$ 250 (approximately £ 219 / AU $ 349)
The highly expected Beats Powerbeats Pro 2 will be launched next week, February 11. It is, according to a new report from Bloomberg, that says the sticker mile award will be $ 250 (about £ 219 / AU $ 349).
This will be a really big deal, partly because the new model is teased in ages, and partly because the second generation will be a very significant upgrade.
Here’s what we expect to hear next week.
Why we are excited for the beats powerbeats pro 2
The new new feature here is the addition of heartbeat, the first time Apple has offered this feature beyond the Apple Watch, although it is also refined to come to AirPods Pro 3. And the buds are also assumed to connect to gymnastics equipment, which can do these among The best headphones for training.
Powerbeats Pro 2 is also expected to get the same H2 chip that operates AirPods Pro 2, so tremendously improved noise cancellation comes along with a lot of other smart features, probably. The current model has the older H1 chip. Hopefully, the newer chip also means better battery life.
The design has been slimmed down and weighs a little less, and there are four color choices: a fun orange tint plus beige, silac and black.
There will still be some differences between these and AirPods Pro 2, especially in AirPods’ hearing health features: If Powerbeats Pro 2 got these features, we would probably have heard about it now. But this is shaping up to be the very best beats buds yet, and it is safe to say that you will see them anywhere soon.
