Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Women Wings Central Leader Samrah Batool was put down in a triple murder in Mandi Town.
District Police Officer (DPO) Shehzad Rafiq Awan said the triple murder took place in the Mandi Town area near Mill Gate.
Samrah Batool allegedly lived independently at the time of the attack.
Two men were also killed in the incident, including a man named Irfan Bhatti. The third victim has not yet been officially identified.
The original studies suggest that the killings were the result of a targeted assault, but the exact motives remain unknown.
Preliminary examination team for criminal and criminal scene reached the place, while CCTV recordings from nearby stores gather to share the range of events.
Samrah Batool’s son, Yasir Abbas and her cousin Zain told police that Irfan Bhatti had come to visit Batool in her residence. They left the house briefly to withdraw cash from a nearby outlets.
When they returned, they found the lifeless bodies of Samrah Batool and the two men.
Based on CCTV evidence and preliminary forensic analysis, police believe that a man identified as Sanaullah first opened fire against Samrah Batool and Irfan Bhatti before turning weapons against himself into what appears to be a double murder self-murder.
Forensic experts noticed a gunshot wound on the right side of Sanaullah’s head, with combustion marks around the wound that was in line with a self -inflicted shot up close.
The three organs were moved to District Headquarters Hospital for Post-Mortem examination. Litigation has begun and police say they are pursuing all sorts of angles to find out facts.
Bhakkar DPO said they guilty if anyone remains largely, will be arrested within 24 hours and brought to court.
In a separate incident in the Jhok Lal Shah area of Panjgiran, a man stuck and killed his older brother over a less verbal dispute.
Police said the suspect, the younger brother, used a knife to mortally sowing naeer abbas during a warmed argument. The locals described the victim as a harmless individual who fell prey for a moment of livestock.
The defendant fled from the stage and the efforts to arrest him are in progress.
Another act of violence took place in Jhok Mitho Shah Notak, where a dispute between friends during the opening ceremony of a local store became deadly. According to eyewitnesses, the argument about the distribution of rice began.
Tempers flared, and one of the individuals pulled out a weapon and shot her friend in front of the collection. Police have closed the area and launched a manhunt for the suspect.
A mortality happened in Kotla Jam, where a young man lost his life in an apparent accident. The victim, who bathed in a Tubewell, sustained a critical head injury and drowned.
Authorities suspect the damage caused unconsciousness, which led to the unintended death.
Political activists said Samrah Batool was a prominent figure in the political landscape of the district.
The Bhakkar District Police Officer Shehzad Rafiq Awan, while talking to Express Pakinomist, emphasized that a full-scale study is underway and that all relevant agencies, including forensic teams, are actively working on the cases.
