President Zardari praises China’s non-interventionist attitude, emphasizes friendship

Pakistan’s President Asif Ali Zardari has expressed his strong belief that China’s growth is beneficial to the region and should not be feared.

When he spoke in an interview with Chinese state-TV companies, Zardari emphasized that China has never served as an imperial power, rather than choosing a non-intervention policy in other country’s affairs, Express News reported.

Zardari repeated the strong, long -term friendship between Pakistan and China and noted that the relationship between the two countries is not only for good times but a “timeless” bond.

“We as neighbors will continue to stand together,” Zardari said, confirming Pakistan’s obligation to benefit from China’s growth, especially in areas such as agriculture and infrastructure.

He praised Chinese President Xi Jinping’s leadership and noted that during his guidance, China has made significant progress in various sectors, including space and agriculture.

“China’s development is a welcome vision for the world, and it benefits the region,” Zardari said. He also mentioned that China’s technological advances, especially in areas such as irrigation and environmental management, could help Pakistan’s growth.
