President Asif Ali Zardari on Wednesday confirmed the government’s obligation to eradicate terrorism and secure lasting peace and development in Balochistan.
Chairman of a high -level meeting on the province’s security situation, President Zardari highlighted the threat of terror elements aimed at destabilizing the region. “The situation is clear – the state will continue to exist, and we must win the war against terrorism,” he claimed.
The meeting attended Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, acting governor of Balochistan Captain (RETD) Abdul Khaliq Achakzai, Chief Secretary Shakeel Qadir Khan, Inspector of Police Moazzam Jah Ansari and other senior officials.
Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti provided a detailed orientation on the province’s law and order situation. In response, President Zardari emphasized the need to modernize security forces and promised that the government would equip anti -terrorism with advanced weapons.
The president emphasized the importance of Balochistan and repeated the government’s focus on sustainable development and education. “Balochistan is close to our hearts.
He also emphasized the importance of education and said that every child in Balochistan should be enrolled in the school. “It is important to equip our children with modern technology to secure their future,” he added.
The meeting confirmed the government’s decision to tackle security challenges while prioritizing socio -economic development in the province.
