Kansas City was in ecstasy when Royals called their top views, Jac Caglianone, but a former MLB director called it “the unpredictable feature I’ve seen in a very long time.”
Former Miami Marlin’s team president David Samson vocalized his dissatisfaction with Royals’ Front Office and brought Caglianone up to the major leagues despite his success in minors.
It was not Caglianone’s performance that Samson referred to in his opinion. It has to do with service time.

“If he gets so good, how do you call him now that he will hit arbitration a whole year earlier than if they waited until after about 17 June?” Samson was wondering.
“I have no idea how a team that is not in the top 10 of the payroll is not aware of dates. And the royals that force the problem, it’s a bunch of horse hockey. You take the extra two weeks because it gives you an extra year and connects itself in arbitration.”

Caglianone reaches arbitration one year early because Kansas City brought him up before Super Two -Deadline. Service time has been a controversial topic for some time among baseball experts and fans because teams have the ability to keep the views down the yard to secure another year of control.
But Kansas City obviously doesn’t mind bringing Caglianone up now.

He was just called up, but Caglianone is one of the top views in baseball and has shaken in minors this year with a .322/.389/.593 slash with 15 homers and 56 RBIs between double-A and triple-A.
Samson believes that calling Caglianone is now putting more pressure on him to perform immediately because of the service time scenario.
“This is a $ 10 million decision they took. He has to better be Vladimir Guerrero Sr., and he has to start now,” Samson said.

Kansas City hopes that Caglianone can be acclimated to the big leagues before rather than later, and they hope to reach the play-to-back seasons after breaking an eight-year slip last year with a wild map.
The last time the Royals reached the playoffs before it was the 2015 campaign when they defeated the New York Mets in the World Series.
