Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has expanded an invitation to Bahraini investors to explore investment opportunities in Pakistan and emphasize the strong fraternal bonds between the two nations.
The statement was made during a meeting between Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and an 11-member Bahraini-parliamentary delegation led by Ahmed bin Salman al-Musallam, speaks to the Bahrain Council’s Council’s Council for Representatives, in Islamabad.
Strengthen the relationship between Pakistan-Bahrain
During the meeting, Prime Minister Sharif conveyed his best wishes to Bahrain’s king, Hamad bin Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa, and confirmed Pakistan’s obligation to elaborate on the bilateral relations.
He emphasized that Pakistan and Bahrain share strong historical, religious and cultural ties, and emphasized the importance of improving people-to-people exchanges to further strengthen diplomatic and economic cooperation.
“Parliamentary exchanges play a crucial role in the elaboration of our relationship, and such initiatives will help to strengthen the already strong brotherly bonds between Pakistan and Bahrain,” said Prime Minister Sharif.
Call Bahraini -Investments in Pakistan
The Prime Minister urged Bahraini investors to take advantage of the business-friendly environment in Pakistan and emphasized the country’s enormous potential in various sectors, including infrastructure, energy, manufacture and technology.
He also acknowledged the significant contributions from the Pakistani Diaspora in Bahrain, which plays an important role in various industries and services.
He further emphasized the need to increase the current trading volume between Pakistan and Bahrain and called to improve economic cooperation in favor of both countries.
Discussion about Palestine and Gaza crisis
Prime Minister Sharif also called on Pakistan, Bahrain and the wider Muslim world to intensify their collective efforts to support the people of Palestine and Gaza. He confirmed Pakistan’s unwavering solidarity with the Palestinian people and called for greater humanitarian assistance and diplomatic initiatives to tackle the crisis.

The high-level meeting also attended speeches for the National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, special assistant to Prime Minister Tariq Fatemi, and senior government officials who participated in discussions about strengthening Pakistan-Bahrain collaboration across several sectors.
