The ambassador of the People’s Republic of China in Pakistan, Jiang Zedong, called on Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in the Prime Minister’s house in Islamabad.
The meeting focused on discussions related to financial cooperation and security issues between the two nations.
The Prime Minister expanded his hot wishes to the Chinese ambassador on the occasion of the Chinese New Year and conveyed the best wishes to the festivities of Chinese leadership as well as Chinese society residing in Pakistan.
Prime Minister Sharif expressed hope that the new year would strengthen the friendship between Pakistan and China and bring prosperity to the population of both countries.
In response, the Chinese ambassador thanked the Prime Minister and the people of Pakistan for their successes and extended greetings for the new year to the government and the Pakistan people.
