ISLAMABAD:
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to stand in solidarity with cancer patients and to further strengthen collective efforts to reduce the burden of the disease on World Cancer Day. In his message on the occasion, the Prime Minister said that Pakistan joins the global community in expressing solidarity with all those affected by cancer and to renew its resolve to fight the disease.
He emphasized that the fight against cancer is not just a medical challenge, but a shared national responsibility that requires compassion, courage and collective action.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that through policy reforms and expanded partnerships, especially over the last year, the government has made the national response to cancer more effective, coordinated and robust.
