Amazon’s prime video has called time on Motorheads After only one season. Fans of the young adult drama are understandably disappointed that one of the best prime video shows is not returning to the streaming service.
Motorheads Following a group of outsiders forming an unlikely friendship over a mutual love for street driving while navigating the hierarchy of high school and it has been a hit for prime video.
I was quite shocked by the decision to cancel as the series has worked very well on the rat Tomatoes with a 78% critic result and a 95% audience. But it has not done enough to ensure a renewal.
It does not mean that it is the finish line for Motorheads however Deadline reported that producers made a statement that claimed they will be looking for a new home.
Executive producer Jason Seagraves: “We started doing a show without agenda and a lot of heart to give families something they can see together.
“While [series creator John A. Norris] And I’m disappointed Motorheads Don’t continue with Prime Video, we couldn’t be more proud of what the team created. “
He concluded: “Despite being released with impossibly low audience attention, our passionate and vocal fanbase led the indictment and made the series impossible to ignore. Their enthusiasm has energyed us and we are optimistic, that we will find a home that believes in and supports the show.”

The short answer is bad!
Motorheads Fans seem confused by the decision to cut the story short, and a petition called Save Motorheads – we need S2 has already gone live. Right now it has only 90 signatures, but I expect numbers to start going up when the news spreads.
A frustrated fan commented on the petition and said, “Motorheads is such a good show, it has a large number and very good reviews, and it was believed that another season would follow because of the first season’s success, the creators even had high hopes we can’t let this show die.
“We need another season and more beyond that, the first season ended on a rock bracket, we can’t let it end like that.”
It does take a lot for a young adult drama to grab me, but I also fly on the flag to help save Motorheads Since it is worth being more. The fact that the first season ended on a cliffhanger is reason enough.
I definitely hope the show will be picked up elsewhere.
