Prime Video wouldn’t be one of the best streaming services around if it didn’t have a new original movie that topped the streaming diagrams. Fortunately for them (and us), July’s big release is a slam-dunk that has become its number a most viewed movie this week … and an absolutely stupid movie.
Don’t be fooled. In this context, stupid is the best compliment I could give. New action movie Heads of State Streaming on Prime Video Now and you would be a fool to miss out on this explosive riot. In fact, not every critic agrees with his 67% rotten Tomatoes score, where the Empire magazine calls it “a really good, mute comedy”.
Once again, we are spoiled for election with everything new on Prime Video in July 2025. Heads of State Is not the only new title that has everyone’s tongues watching: We can also sing along to Cynthia Erivo’s infamous vocal riff in Eviland stuck in more insatiable teen drama in Summer I became beautiful Season 3.
Why do I recommend watching Prime Videos State Heads
Look at
Let’s set the scene. Idris Elba is in the power he has always deserved to have, and plays British Prime Minister Sam Clarke. His natural rival is US President Will Derringer (John Cena) and they are not shy to make their hatred against each other incredibly public. But when an Air Force a plane is shot down over the enemy territory, they have no choice but to work together.
On paper, Heads of State is a new movie that needs to be written off as a total failure that has been filed in the same cheap and mediocre cabinet as Another simple advantage and G20. But the third time is the charm here, with Elba and Cena’s natural chemistry, giving us Throwback to the top of the Great 2000 -TALL’s action we didn’t know we needed.
There is nothing to take seriously inside Heads of State – All you see is stupid bonkers. But in a world where we don’t have enough time to laugh or let our guard down, Prime Videos’s new movie is a welcome postponement. Seeing two action heroes running around with guns trying to save the world is enough to remove our minds something, especially given how well it is all composed.
Obviously, Amazon has not spared any expenses for this release. Where something similar G20 suffered from its visuals, Heads of State Have the blank Hollywood look we’ve come to expect from large budget studies. At the same time, it has not lost its own sense of identity, which stands out from Amazon’s other action functions with its own signature of humor, easy -heartedness and lack of fear. Being mute is fun, people!
All involved in Heads of State Clearly lets down their hair and are doing well, so why shouldn’t we? A good time on the movies does not have to be baked in serious topics, transformation perspectives or unique visuals we have never seen before. Sometimes the best approach is to take a simple, fun concept and do it well and you won’t regret having carved time to see Elba and Cena do exactly that.
