Ever since first -class video revealed that they were making a Carrie TV adaptation, I’ve kept watching. The recent Casting —guest has only made me more excited as Scream and Five Nights on FreddyStar Matthew Lillard enters the shoes of the well -meaning headmaster of horror, alias loses Morton.
I am so excited to see Lillard’s acquisition of a character that has taken many forms over the years from the original Stephen King novel and Movie Classic from 1976, to the non-so-good 2013 recount. It will be interesting to see if they stick to the novel or make changes his character.
I already had high hopes for this project, which has Netflix -Rædssel aficionado Mike Flanagan at the helm. He is known for his successful horror series such as Haunting by Hill House and Midnight massSo I expect his Amazon TV to take another of King’s most iconic works to be another small screen hit.
Who else will show up in Amazon’s Carrie TV adaptation?
Next to Lillard there are several famous faces attached to appear.
Initially, CULT OF CHUCKY‘s summer Howell enters the shoes of the titular telekinetic teenager. Participation in her is Samantha Sloyan who recently played the lead role in Pittalias one of the best max shows that Carrie’s dominant and godly mother Margaret White.
Other names include Alison Thornton as Chris Hargensen, ie. The popular schoolgirl and Carrie’s Major Bully, Amber Middogs as gymnastics teacher Miss Desjardin and Thalia Dudek, Josie Totah, Arthur Conti and Joel Oullette in supportive roles.
We still don’t know much about this project yet, but it is likely that we spend much more time getting to know these characters, as Flanagan can do much more with a TV recording than, says a movie’s two-hour runtime.
