Prince Harry has been warned against skipping the wedding with his cousin Peter Phillips and Harriet Sperling.
Peter and Harriet, who started dating last year, announced their engagement last week. The statement reads, “Mr. Peter Phillips, son of HRH The Princess Royal and Captain Mark Phillips and Mrs. Harriet Sperling, daughter of the late Mr. Rupert Sanders and Mrs. Mary Sanders of Gloucestershire, have today confirmed their official commitment.”
“Both families were jointly informed about the message and were happy with the wonderful news of their engagement,” the statement revealed.
“Their majesty the king and queen, the prince and the princess of Wales have been informed of the message. No date is officially set for the wedding,” shared it.
While celebrating brothers William and Harry usually avoid participating in the same features, the Duke of Sussex has been advised by cultural expert and TV program leader Nick Eede, whom he was to attend.
Ede told Express: “Prince Harry has always been close to Peter Phillips, and Harry has been known for attending major royal apartments on his own. I think it would be a good thing for his popularity if he attended the wedding.”
“If he wants to benefit from his family, this can be a great way to start healing the cluster,” the expert suggested.
“If he does not attend, it will look a little petty and that he does not support his cousin on his special day,” he pointed out.
Prince Harry previously jumped over a wedding by Hugh Grosvenor, Duke of Westminster and Olivia Henson on June 7, 2024 in Chester Cathedral. His brother William was fortunately seen attending the wedding. He was also served as an Usher in the wedding.
