Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are expected to push King Charles to posing for a family photo if he decides to show up at 2027 Invictus Games.

According to reports, the Duke of Sussex has “agreed” to invite the monarch and the royal family members to the games to be held in Birmingham.

However, royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams claimed that any public interaction between the king and Sussexes would raise concerns in the palace.

He told me Express That Harry and Meghan would probably seek photo opportunities with their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, who could benefit their public image.

“‘Reconciliation’ sounds as simple as everyone obviously supports it,” he told the publication.

“However, it can involve extremely serious problems for the royal family, who rightly do not trust Sussexes.

“If the king accepted it, this would involve public contact with Harry and almost certainly Meghan and his grandchildren, Archie and Lili.”

With reference to Sussexes’ ongoing feud with Prince William and Kate Middleton, the expert said it is very unlikely that the prince and the princess of Wales would attend.

“From what we know now, it seems that William and Catherine would not attend,” Fitzwilliams said.

“” The photo opportunities that happened would be for immense need for the Sussexes mark.

“It has been reported that they have included the HRH titles on their children’s passports and would like them to have the choice to become working royals, although this is not a scenario that the king or William is likely to consider.”
