Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex has been subjected to a great legal battle when he just lost his security match.
On May 2, 2025, Harry’s Appel to reintroduce taxpayer-funded armed police protection in Britain for himself and his family, just as before resigning from royal tasks in Britain, rejected.
Despite claims that his life was “at stake,” and he and his family including wife Meghan Markle and children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet were in danger when he visited Britain, gave the appeal against him.
The legal team of the youngest son of King Charles insisted that he was “appointed” for “unjustified, subordinate treatment,” but the court agreed with the decision made by the Executive Committee for the Protection of Royalty and Public Person (Ravec) who downgraded the Duke of Sussex’s security after “Megxit.”
It is worth mentioning that although the case has already cost Harry over £ 500,000, his only option is to try to appeal to the Supreme Court.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, who tied the knot in 2018, stepped down from their royal roles in 2020.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex now lives in Montecito, California, with their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
