A secret summit between Prince Harry and senior helpers to King Charles has ignited a wave of setbacks among royal supporters accusing the Duke of Sussex and his wife, Meghan Markle, to further share the royal family.
According to Palace sources, the meeting behind the scenes was held without the knowledge or presence of Prince William, triggering fresh tensions between the alienated brothers.
Supporters of the royal household went to social media to vent their frustration and claimed that Harry and Meghan have “manipulated” the situation to Pit King Charles against his eldest son.
“The king is played,” wrote a user of X, formerly Twitter. “Prince William does not support peace talks that enable more treason.”
The controversy was intensified after the demands came to the fact that William and Queen Camilla may have been behind recent leaks to the media about King Charles’s alleged burial plans, claims Buckingham Palace have not treated publicly.
Critics of the Prince and Princess of Wales claim that the leak was an attempt to undermine the monarch’s reconciliation efforts with Harry. “This is not just about family, it’s a power struggle,” said the royal commentator Elise Morgan at ITV.
While Palace -Insiders insist that the meeting was part of “ongoing family discussions”, the public atmosphere remains sharply split.
