Prince Harry has received good news from King Charles after a report claimed that the Duke of Sussex is accusing royal helpers of sabotaging their recent British reunification.
According to a new report, the monarch remains open to rebuilding his relationship with Harry despite feeling sad and frustrated with Harry’s recent remarks at their meeting.
While the king had hoped that their private meeting in London would mark a step forward, the situation was quickly strained after Harry criticized Palace staff.
However, a spokesman for Harry denied the reports and claimed, “Recent reporting on the Duke’s view of the tone of the meeting is categorically false.”
“The quotes attributed to him are pure invention, fed, one can only assume, with sources intended to sabotage any reconciliation between father and son.”
It is said that Charles is more disappointed than angry, to feel that the efforts to cure the rift are often set back with public outbursts, reported Radar online.
A senior palace source revealed, “Everything anyone wants is for the king and Harry to rebuild their bond. But when there seems to be a step forward, something in the direction of and pushes them back again.”
“The king feels more grief than anger. It hurts him that private attempts to repair the relationship is so quickly eclipsed by Harry’s public outburst,” said another.
“What Charles longs for is quiet patience, not another rage attack that was sent into the press.”
