Prince Harry’s Invictus Games Foundation (IGF) has made a larger message after the Duke stepped down as the patron saint of a charity with ‘heavy hearts’.
Prince Harry and Prince Seeiso released a joint statement to reveal about their ‘destructive’ decision on the resignation of sending ball and said “with heavy hearts we have withdrawn from our roles as patrons of the organization so far.”
Days after Harry’s decision, IGF announced, ”Invictus Games Foundation now accepts an expression of interest in potential cities to host the Invictus Games 2029.
“The opening of the process for the Invictus Games 2029 was announced at Invictus Games Vancouver Whistler 2025.”
The statement also states, “The cities interested in hosting Invictus games are required to provide the Invictus Games Foundation with a 2-3-page submission of an expression of interest (EOI) that outlines: proposed influence, vision and inheritance; infrastructure; financing; Government.”

The deadline for submitting an EOI is by 16 May 2025.
Invictus Games has been held 7 times in the last 10 years, with former hosts London, Orlando, Toronto, Sydney, Hague, Düsseldorf and Vancouver Whistler.
