Prince Harry’s potential participation in Peter Phillips’ upcoming wedding has given rise to a lot of speculation, with an expert who claimed he would steal the limelight.
Talking with Royal Insider, The royal expert Grant Harrold said he believes there is a strong chance that the Duke of Sussex will be invited because of his historically close relationship with Peter.
However, Harrold, who worked closely with King Charles, warned that Harry’s presence could inadvertently overshadow the wedding itself, considering the ongoing tensions of the royal family and the media uprising that follows him.
“There is a strong chance that Harry will be invited, considering his historically close relationship with Peter,” Harrold said, adding, “whether he participates is another matter completely.”
“His presence could inadvertently overshadow the wedding due to continuous tension in the royal family and the intense media focus that follows him,” he continued.
“Although it is possible that he does not take on a major role in the ceremony, such as Best Man or Usher, his participation could only move his attention away from the couple and to royal dynamics.
“Given the current climate, there is a real risk that his presence may become the headline rather than the wedding itself,” he added.
“I think Peter is obviously aware of this and will probably invite him anyway; he might just not play a huge role.”
