Prince William only looked after Prince Harry when he asked him to hold his horses, an expert says.
The Prince of Wales did not want Harry to rush into his wedding with Meghan Markle and focus on building a relationship with her.
Royal expert Robert Jobson told The Sun: “I think William, you know, like any brother probably just kept an eye on him saying, do you think it’s happening quite quickly?
“What do you really know about this girl? Shouldn’t you spend some more time getting to know her? Who reacted badly.
“He was really, really unhappy about it. He couldn’t come to terms with it.
“After that it’s just been a gradual unraveling of the relationship. I had been told at Christmas when Harry and Meghan went to live with William and Kate,” he added.
“Harry had complained to his brother that he didn’t make enough of a fuss about Meghan, didn’t roll out the red carpet, that she didn’t feel very welcome.
“These were things that I and other journalists picked up on at the time.
“When things had stalled a bit after the wedding, I was told by people who had been involved with the wedding, people who knew some of the senior members of the royal family, that things were actually not very good at all between Meghan and Harry and William and Kate,” the expert noted.
