Prince William can throw a punch; he proves this by wearing boxing gloves and stepping into a ring to channel his inner Muhammad Ali.
However, this was not an actual battle. The sun reported that this display of skills happened at the Centrepoint charity and was organized by the Boxwise Foundation.
These groups work for the homeless and disadvantaged youth, which the future king is targeting to hail from Britain, according to the outlet.
Daily Telegraph reported that the Prince of Wessex had several rehearsals with young people, joking, “You look like you’re already professionals!”
“I can get back into boxing! It’s been a long time, actually a long time, but it’s seriously hard work,” the long-time charity patron told professional trainer Charlie Beatt.
Centerpoint boss Seyi Obakin, meanwhile, raved about William as a “true ambassador. The more weight he puts on, the more he knows he can be open to criticism.”
“People can say, ‘Oh, you live in a palace, what do you know about this situation,’ but he listens. He can be the change,” he noted.
