Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have an alienated relationship with King Charles and Prince William.
After pulling down from their royal roles, the Duke and the Duchess of Sussex made shocking allegations against the members of the royal family. Ever since, the couple has a rumored feud with the royal family.
Despite the distance, royal experts claim that William, the Prince of Wales, protected his younger brother, Harry and sister -in -law Meghan from public insult.
In the midst of public demand for Duke and Duchess of Sussex was to be removed by their royal title, Jennie Bond told Mirror that William “would not do this” to his brother and sister -in -law.
She said, “Granted, which seems to be a public appetite to remove them from their titles, but I think it is unlikely that William would choose to do this.”
“It seems, and would actually be, quite fair. There is also the question of whether a monarch can actually do this. Some titles could be removed according to the sovereign, but the universal view is that to strip any of their peerage requires a parliamentary act,” Jennie added.
It is worth mentioning that Prince Harry became the Duke of Sussex, Jarl of Dumbaron and Baron of Kilkee after his marriage to Meghan Markle in 2018.
Jennie noted, “It would be a brave government to venture into this field when there are so many more urgent questions.”
“King Edward VIII remained a Duke for the rest of his life, even though he lived in exile,” she added.
Remarkably, the expert suggested that William could remain alienated to Harry forever, but “he will continue to consider Harry simply as irrelevant to his life and for this country.”
“And I don’t think he would disturb himself in removing any of their titles,” she added. “For Harry and Meghan, of course, it would be a very public insult.”
Furthermore, the Duke and the Duchess of Sussex may have been pulled down from their royal roles, their children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet are sixth and seventh in the order.
It was clarified by Sussex’s team in a statement that read: “The children’s titles have been a birth court since their grandfather became Monarch. This case has been settled for some time in accordance with Buckingham Palace.”
While Meghan and Harry were told they did not use their HRH titles when they stepped down from their royal roles, the Duchess of Sussex recently received criticism when she was seen using the title.
Recently, Meghan’s podcast -attenuations of a female founder episode revealed that she had sent her friend a gift basket with a note reading, “with the compliments of HRH Duchess of Sussex.” This movement triggered criticism.
However, Jennie said that although Prince Harry and Meghan Markle would be “hurt and angry” if removed from their titles, it would also “reduce their status” in the eyes of the American public.
Still, the expert doesn’t think Prince William or King Charles would do this.
