Prince William was attacked by dog while recording important video

Prince William stops in the middle of filming when a woman and a dog crash the royal walk

Not only did Prince William promote green spaces, he almost scored a cameo in a dog-walking drama.

The Prince of Wales was out at Windlesham’s Field of Remembrance Park filming a video with England football legend Jill Scott to mark the centenary of the charity Fields in Trust, which protects parks, playgrounds and sports pitches, when an unsuspecting local wandered onto the set.

The woman, who was out walking her dog, froze in her tracks when her off-leash pup charged straight up to William and got an unforgettable “Oh my God!” that was caught on camera and quickly went online.

William, a well-known dog lover who even brought along his own cocker spaniel, Orla, on previous shoots took it in stride and laughed off the interruption as Scott calmed both walker and furry interloper.

The dog’s owner, clearly confused, rushed over to apologize as Scott reassured her with a calm, “It’s okay, don’t worry.”

William and Scott were in high spirits as they discussed the important role green spaces play in local communities, especially children who get fresh air and exercise.

Scott, who grew up playing football in local parks and now serves as Fields in Trust president, told how those very fields shaped her legendary career.
