King Charles, Princess Anne and Queen Camilla held a crucial meeting at Buckingham Palace when they recognized humanitarian efforts across the globe.
According to the royal family, in Buckingham Palace, the king and the queen greeted with Princess Royal and the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester unusual individuals and organizations that contributed to humanitarian efforts across the globe.
The reception also marked the anniversaries of four global charities.
During the reception, King Charles and Queen Camilla and guests had an opportunity to see screens about the work of the four humanitarian organizations as well as see stories from volunteers working with the organizations.
The King and Queen also saw a collection of pictures from the disasters emergency committee (dec) sent to the king to World Humanitarian Day in August 2024.
Earlier this week, King Charles also awarded the first humanitarian medals ever at Buckingham Palace.
