Princess Anne has continued to uphold her reputation as the most loyal and hardest working as she performed an important role entrusted to her on behalf of the monarch.
The Royal Family has dealt with an onslaught of bad press and controversy following the humiliating reports about Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.
After the disgraced royal’s ‘peppercorn’ rental at Royal Lodge emerged, other senior members of the royal family also came under scrutiny.
Buckingham Palace released a statement or congratulations after prominent Britons received honors from King Charles’ sister.
“Congratulations to all who received honors at this week’s investiture ceremonies hosted by The Princess Royal at St James’s Palace,” the announcement read.
It noted that The Reservicing Program at Buckingham Palace had led to “a number of ceremonies being held at St James’s for the first time since the pandemic”.
Apart from the king, there are only two members of the royal family who can perform the investiture ceremonies: Prince William and Princess Anne.
The update comes after Parliament launched a new inquiry into all properties registered under the Crown estate. Although Princess Anne has been spared the scrutiny since she lives at the privately owned property at Gatcombe Park.
The investigation must ensure that the taxpayers’ interests are safeguarded.
