Princess Anne, the younger sister of King Charles, is expected to continue to support her brother for 15 years.
This has been revealed by the royal insiders as Princess Anne is ready to celebrate her 75 -year birthday.
The TimesQuoting the royal sources has reported that Princess Royal will follow in her father Prince Philip’s footsteps as she is believed to plan a gradual reduction in her workload of 80 before finally retiring a decade later.
The source tells the publication “She has said that her plan is to push (with work) until she is 80, then start to run a little, and then copy the (late) Duke of Edinburgh and win all the way down to 90.”
The insider said, “The head of state must continue, but the princess is in a position where she can settle and say, ‘I’ve done my bit’, just as the Duke of Edinburgh did.”
Princess Anne maintains a strong relationship with King Charles, but the insider close to her has noticed her frustration over Prince William’s workload, especially with regard to investments at Windsor Castle.
The insides have claimed that Princess Royal is ‘annoyed’ with Prince William.
