Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas’ daughter Malti Marie are convinced she is named after Disney Royalty.
During a Tuesday, June 24, appearance at Good morning AmericaMalti’s mother Priyanka shared that the three-year-old is “such a girl girl” and thinks she is named after her favorite Disney character, Moana.
“She introduces herself as Malti Marie Moana Chopra Jonas. She insists she is Moana. She insists it is her name, as officially her name in school. She says, ‘I’m Malti Marie Moana,'” Chopra revealed.
She shared more about Malti’s love for all things that were girly, said the heads of the meters, “She loves to get into my closet, wearing my shoes, see my dresses.”
“She was with us when we were dressed for Met Gala and she took on my gloves and my hat, and she said, ‘Mama and Gaga go to a ball, just like Cinderella,'” she shared, noting that Malti calls Nick “Gaga.”
In March, Nick shared that Malti requires playing Moana and Maui with him when he comes home.
“She wants to play Moana and Maui with me, and it means more to me than anything else is that time with her. And just the fact that I’m just a dad when I’m home means a lot.”
He fertilized that the best thing about being a father is that “you could feel like your coolest self on top of the world and she just doesn’t care.”
Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas bound the knot in 2018 and welcomed Malti via surrogate in January 2022.
