Islamabad:
Attorney General Senator Azam Nazeer Tarar held a meeting with presidents and secretaries for various bar associations from the Sargodha division on Wednesday.
The primary agenda of the meeting was to discuss issues related to the upcoming election of the provincial bar councils planned for this year.
With the concerns, the Minister made it categorically clear that no changes will be made to the laws of election of provincial council. He emphasized that the election is held on time in accordance with the relevant laws and regulations.
The meeting also included a discussion on ongoing and upcoming development projects for the legal community.
Senator Azam Nazeer Tarar repeated the government’s obligation to support the legal brotherhood and advertised grants to various bar associations.
These financial grants will help with development and renovation projects at bark offices, which ensures a more conducive working environment for lawyers.
