The PlayStation network has been down for just over 12 hours at this point, in what seems to be an important outbreak, and unfortunately it is still very running.
Based on Reports from Downdetector, there was originally a huge increase in complaints that peaked with over 14,000 reports, and it seemed to settle down something – especially without being completely resolved – before another smaller top has been hit and lasting in the past few hours.
Those who want to get a weekend session with Call of Duty On the PlayStation, or what their favorite online poison can experience it difficult right now.
Some users tell us that they are successfully coming to PSN, but there are plenty of other reports about X from players who can’t log in – and the official status we look, shaking.
An unfortunate row of red lights
According to the PlayStation North American Support account of X, “Some users may currently experience problems with PSN,” but there is no further details given or any idea of an ETA for a solution here.

This post on X just points to the PlayStation Network Service Status Dashboard, which is currently showing a rather worrying series of red lights.
Registration issues have been reported for PSN and we are advised: “You may have a hard time logging in or creating an account for PlayStation Network. We are working to solve the problem as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience. “
The red flag in the ‘game and the social’ part of the dashboard notes: “You may have a hard time starting games, apps or network features.” Again, a decision is promised ASAP, but as you are probably at, this boiler plate is notifications. It’s not like Sony wouldn’t work to fix this quickly, is it?
For now, however, we remain pretty in the dark for any reasons, but given that the red lights extend beyond PSN play and log -ins, also to include the PlayStation store as well as PlayStation -Video and directly, it looks like As it can be a thorns. Especially in view of the long -term nature of the power cut so far.
We keep an eye on the situation and update this story if we hear something more concrete from PlayStation Support. But about all players who can do right now is to keep their fingers firmly crossed that this does not turn out to be as complicated as some of the indicators here suggest – and just continue to log in.
