Islamabad:
PTI leaders have submitted the contempt of the court’s petitions in Islamabad High Court against Adiala Prison Superintendent and Punjab Home Secretary to refuse access to PTI founder Imran Khan despite court decisions.
The petitions were submitted by Imran’s sister Aleema Khanum, opposition leader in the National Assembly Omar Ayub and Sunni Itthad Council (SIC) Chief SaHibzada Muhammad Hamid Raza.
In his petition, Aleema claimed that respondents – adiala prisons Noorul Ameen Maingal and Home Secretary Abdul Ghafoor Anjum – have placed illegal restriction on the meeting with the PTI founder.
