Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has once again issued a show-cause notice to Sher Afzal Marwat for violating party discipline, Express News reported.

In a statement issued on Monday, the PTI leadership reprimanded party leader Sher Afzal Marwat, known for his fiery mouthpiece, for making statements contrary to the party’s official position.

In addition, Marwat was banned from representing the party in the media until he submits a response to the show-case notice. The announcement of the show was issued by PTI Additional Secretary General Firdous Shamim Naqvi.

The notice, issued under the leadership of PTI Chairman Imran Khan, stated that Sher Afzal Marwat had in the past violated party policy and made statements without careful consideration. He has been given seven days to submit his answer.

Notably, just a few days ago, PTI leader Sher Afzal Marwat broke his silence on internal party differences and stated that if anyone speaks against him, they should not expect his silence in return.

It is to be noted that last year, PTI issued a notice to Sher Afzal Marwat for violating the party’s code of conduct with his recent remarks targeting senior leaders and Saudi Arabia.

The notice accused Marwat of making damaging statements and straining relations within the party.
