Rawalpindi:
PTI founder Imran Khan has decided to expel ten legislators who were absent on the day of the 26th change voting, according to the party’s insiders.
The only exception to the decision is Zain Qureshi, while everyone else has been ordered to be removed from the party.
Sources said that critical decisions were made within Adiala Prison, where Imran conveyed a clear message to the party’s senior management and instructed them to initiate the deportation of the absent legislators.
He also instructed a formal review to be issued to complete their removal. Imran said Imran that those who chose to disappear on such a decisive day had no place in the party.
The legislators who did not appear on voting day include Senator Zarqa Suharwardy, Senator Faisal Saleem, Zain Qureshi, Aslam Ghuman, Riyaz Fatyana, Miqdad Ali Khan, Aurangzeb Khichi, Zahoor Qureshi, Usman Ali and Mubarak Zaib.
While Zain Qureshi was also absent, he is exempt from expulsion.
PTI had previously issued messages about showing years to several of these members, including Aslam Ghuman, Riyaz Fatyana, Zain Qureshi and Miqdad Ali Khan, not to participate in the voting process.
Aurangzeb Khichi had also received a message, while Zahoor Qureshi, Usman Ali and Mubarak Zaib were reported to be completely out of contact with the party that day.
