PTI presents Dossier to IMF, voting voting rigging

Islamabad:

On the directives of PTI Foundation Chairman Imran Khan, opposition leader in the National Assembly and Party leader Omar Ayub has written a letter to the International Monetary Fund (IMF), raises concerns about “election of 2024 and calls for money lending to consider government issues in Pakistan during his financial examination.

According to Express News, Ayub’s letter emphasizes that the IMF mission is currently assessing Pakistan’s economic and management framework with transparency and the rule of law as key factors.

Together with the letter, the PTI leader has presented a dossier previously presented to Chief Justice, which contains what he describes as “undeniable proof of widespread electoral fraud”.

Ayub remembered that Imran Khan met the IMF delegation on July 7, 2023, emphasizing that fair elections were important to the rule of law, economic prosperity and national development.

He claimed that the dossier provides concrete evidence of how state institutions, including the Election Commission in Pakistan (ECP), allegedly suppressed PTI, manipulated election results and constructed the democratic process.

Ayub accused the government of violating constitutional principles and included conclusions from NGO Pattan, which he said documented electoral fraud.

He emphasized that economic and political stability depends on transparency and called on international stakeholders, including the IMF, to take note of these concerns.

Ayub assured the IMF that PTI is willing to provide additional details and help if necessary.

He expressed confidence that the rule of law and democratic integrity will remain central to Pakistan’s future engagements with international bodies.

Coas

The PTI Foundation President has decided to send his third open letter to the Chief of Army Staff (Coas) Gen Asim Munir, who approached alleged election fraud at the 2024 parliamentary elections and accuses the government of enabling money laundering to take power.

Imran, who has been behind pillars since August 2023, wrote two “open letters” to the army chief on February 3 and February 8, expressing concern about “extended gap between the military and the public” while claiming serious violations of the rights of rights during his prison.

In his last letter, Imran declared that he had written the previous letter with “Good intentions to improve the country and the nation so that the growing gap between the army and the people could be reduced day by day”. However, he complained that the answer was given with “extreme junk and irresponsibility”.

The former prime minister called on the army to ‘return to its constitutional boundaries, differ from politics, and fulfill his assigned responsibility’ to secure the country’s stability and security and bridge the military and the people.

However, security sources rejected allegations of IMRAN’s previous letters and said that no such correspondence had been received and that the company had no interest in engaging in it. They reiterated that any political discussions should take place among politicians rather than involving the army.

In a speech with the media outside the Adiala prison in Rawalpindi on Wednesday, Imran’s Council Faisal Chaudhry declared that the PTI founder had dictated the content of the third letter to party leaders.

The letter reportedly includes six key points, including demands for deep structural reforms and concerns over government policies undermining democracy.

Chaudhry emphasized that PTI continues to demand a judicial commission to examine the events on May 9. He also claimed that crashes after the election persist in Punjab, quoting a case in which police allegedly prevented a PTI worker’s funeral in Wazirabad.

The lawyer stated that PTI leaders, including IMRAN, appeared in the GHQ case procedure. PTI Chief Whip Amir Dogar has been part of the negotiating committee with the opposition, and the party is ready to advertise further agreements via an official review later today, he added.

Chaudhry also criticized the reported restrictions on lawyers and journalists and said ILF -President Intezar Panjutha was prevented from entering the jail to meet Imran. He further stated that PTI would submit a request for an open trial in the GHQ case with reference to concern for legal transparency after the 26th constitutional amendment.

In his latest letter, Imran Khan raises allegations of electoral fraud and claims that a minority had been allowed to take on control of the majority. He also accuses the government of enabling money laundering to keep power.

In addition, Imran expressed concern over rising terrorism due to a “lack of the rule of law” with reference to the emigration of 1.8 million people and the $ 20 billion in capital in capital from Pakistan.

He also highlighted financial setbacks and stated that GDP growth was 6.4 percent when PTI left power, adding that the country’s global location in the rule of law has since fallen to 140.
