Pakistan Tehreek-E-Insaf (PTI) President, Barrister Gohar, confirmed that Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Yahyah Afridi had advised him and his party to remain in the political system and not boycott the upcoming election.

In a speech with media representatives at the District Courts, Barrister Gohar stated that he had participated in the court in the case in connection with a complaint filed on November 26 and that the court had set a date on February 15 due to election -related delays, Express News reported News .

He confirmed that Chief Justice had actually suggested that PTI should continue to engage in the political process rather than choose a boycott, a mood he confirmed in his comments.

“We had a meeting with Chief Justice yesterday, and it was clear that living in the system is the best course of action,” said Gohar and confirmed the council.

He added that PTI had also raised concerns about the legal treatment of the party and claimed that the way PTI had been treated was “not appropriate” for democracy and the rule of law.

In his remarks, Barrister Gohar expressed dissatisfaction with the current situation and said, “We are not satisfied with the approach of the judiciary. The way PTI is treated is not really for democracy and the justice system. “

Gohar also noted that PTI’s Alliano Legation had recently traveled to Karachi and that the party was planning additional political movements in collaboration with opposition parties. He emphasized that PTI’s efforts would focus on strengthening the constitution and ensuring that “votes are not stolen” in the upcoming election.

With regard to internal party cases, Gohar referred to the situation of party member Sher Afzal Marwat and explained that any internal disciplinary questions would be handled according to PTI’s internal processes. He added that the question of members leaving the party on May 9, such as Akbar S. Babar, would be dealt with by PTI leader Imran Khan.

Gohar also confirmed that PTI’s internal dynamics were stable and that there was no “forward block” within the party, maintaining that any claim that suggested otherwise was baseless. He assured that PTI’s management, including founder Imran Khan, was focused on tackling serious political issues while maintaining the unit in the party.
