PTI promises to recover ‘stolen mandate’

During the shadow of section 144 and in the middle of stopping negotiations with the government to party complaints, Pakistan Tehreek-E-In-Insaf (PTI) took on Saturday on the streets nationwide and observed a ‘black day’ to mark the anniversary of last year’s ” Optional rig, “as it claims it deprived of it from its mandate.

Similar demonstrations were reported in several cities over Punjab, including Okara, Dipalpur, Rahim Yar Khan, Khanpur, Haroonabad, Jafarabad, Shakargarh, Chichawatni, Faisalabad, Dera Ghazi Khan, Multan, Azad Kashmir, Muzaffarh, Gujrat, Kot Adukh up .

PTI parliamentarians and workers participated in these rallies and face a significant police presence.

In Multan, authorities deployed heavy quotas by police in key spaces, including Chungi # 9, Ghunghat Chowk, Nawan Shahr Chowk and Chowk Kaceri, where PTI supporters gathered.

Meher Bano and Zahid Bahar Hashmi led one of the protests before being detained with several other activists. Police quickly spread the crowd and transported prisoners to police stations with prisoners.

Despite the strong arm tactics, PTI doubled its commitment to peaceful demonstrations. The party promised to avoid confrontation on February 8, instead plan a major demonstration in Swabi, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and call for nationwide participation.

They promised to regain the stolen mandate and fight for people’s rights and warn that the nation would no longer tolerate injustice.

When he talked about the collection, Junaid Akbar claimed PTI’s newly clarified provincial president that institutions must remain within their proper boundaries.

“Today’s rally is a message for those who say PTI is tired. Institutions only become strong when the people stand with them; we respect institutions.” Junaid, however, regretted the extended gap between the institutions and the public.

He paralyzed the federal government to initiate conflicts between institutions and claimed that his province, who has suffered deeply of terrorism, required the protection of the constitution and unity in the fight against terrorism.

He said the green part of Pti’s flag symbolized peace, which had led the party’s approach so far.

“Together with the color of peace, we also have the blood color, the color of the revolution,” he said.

Meanwhile, PTI chairman Barrister Gohar emphasized the need for a political solution to the country’s problems. He recalled that Imran Khan had called for negotiations – and that PTI had set up various committees in this regard – only to be met with the stubbornness of the government.

“Imran Khan will call again,” he declared, calling for maximum mobilization among workers.

Gohar warned that without Imran the party could not work, and he promised that the dark chapter of the stolen mandate of the previous election would never be forgotten.

At the rally, Mahmood called Khan Achakzai, opposition alliance’s president, to unity among the people and warned that if genuine solidarity was achieved, the federal government would not be more than three months.

Achakzai mocked the current regime as formed by “looting and thieves”.

PTI -Information Secretary Sheikh Waqa’s Acram claimed that the election “mandate was stolen” by the government to push through the 26th amendment.

“[It was done] So the judges could be exploited. So they could appoint judges by themselves and get the decisions they want, ”he said, quoting the party’s founder Imran Khan.
