Pakistan Tehreek-E-Insaf (PTI) President Barrister Gohar said on Monday that if he had been allowed to meet the party’s founder Imran Khan, he would have discussed the growing tensions with India while confirming PTI’s full support to all decisions made by the government in response to India’s actions.

In a speech with the media near Adiala Prison on Tuesday, he reiterated that Imran Khan had already declared that Pakistan would not hesitate to respond resolutely to any hostile acts from India.

He also confirmed PTI’s full support for all decisions made by Pakistan in response to India’s actions and added that the recent ban on Pakistani news channels from Indian authorities had postponed the “myth” of India’s secularism.

To condemn India’s media ban said Gohar that India projected a false tale internationally. “Closing Pakistan’s airspace to India is a justified and strong move,” he said, confirming PTI’s support for the National Security Council’s recent statement.

Barrister Gohar also criticized authorities for blocking meetings with Imran Khan and called it a violation of court decisions.

“There are directives from both larger and single-member benches, but still no implementation has taken place,” he said. “To prevent consultation at such a critical time is very inappropriate, especially when we talk about being united against India.”

He emphasized the need to consult the PTI founder and called him Pakistan’s most popular political leader. Gohar also said he raised the issue of non -compliance with court decisions at a meeting with Chief Justice of Pakistan and urged him to secure enforcement.

PTI-senator Ali Zafar also spoke with the media near Adiala Prison and said that in the midst of rising India-Pakistan tensions, take a back seat. “We stand with Pakistan, not politics, this hour,” he said. “Blocking today’s meeting with the PTI founder constitutes to keep him in solitary confinement.”

He emphasized that an important consultation with Imran Khan was planned for national affairs. “The founder had clearly instructed that the list of visitors should not matter, someone who is allowed to meet him should be facilitated. We are all his soldiers,” Zafar said.

He repeated Imran Khan’s previous statements about India and noted, “We are a brave nation. When we are challenged, we will not think we will answer.”
