Pakistan Tehreek-E-Insaf (PTI) Secretary General Salman Akram Raja announced on Friday that the “system” would soon realize that it cannot move on without the party founded by IMRAN Khan.
His comments came a day after PTI rejected Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s offer to resume stopped talks, which led to speculation about political instability in the coming days.
PTI, who now seems to be changing to “agitation state”, has signaled the plans to arrange protests at district level over alleged rigging at last year’s parliamentary elections.
Ptis Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa President Junaid Akbar also mentioned a potential demonstration on Islamabad’s D-Chowk.
He previously said that PTI’s desire for dialogue was interpreted as weakness and revealed that the party was planning to reorganize its leadership by adhering to moderate figures in favor of hardliners.
In a speech with a local TV news channel, Raja PTI’s position confirmed and said the party was ready to operate within the framework of the Constitution and the law. He emphasized that PTI remains the greatest political strength in Pakistan and contributed to national stability.
He warned that diminishing PTI’s influence could strengthen extremist elements, a situation that the country could not afford. He further clarified that PTI did not participate in back door conversations and did not consider such communication needed for their future strategy.
