Lahore:
Pakistan Tehreek-E-Insaf (PTI) plans to launch a nationwide protest movement to release his imprisoned founder Imran Khan.
By tackling a press conference on Tuesday, opposition leader in the Punjab assembly said Malik Ahmad Khan Bhachar that a message about the movement would be published later this week.
In response to media queries, Bhachar accused the government of applying more failed tactics to run the party’s leadership.
He announced that PTI would challenge references filed by Punjab assembly speaker Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan against 26 opposition legislators.
He accused the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) of having orchestrated the suspension of members of reassuring chief minister Maryam Nawaz.
“We 107 MPAS is stuck. We don’t bend until Maryam Nawaz,” he said. “On Thursday, we will convene a parallel session with our ‘real’ assembly outside the Punjab assembly.
