Federal Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhry said on Friday that the PTI must "abandon its negative politics" as the party no longer had former ISI chief Faiz Hameed "to rely on". Speaking at a press conference in Islamabad, he termed the conviction of the former spymaster a "historic decision" who confirmed it "the law is equal for all". Dr. Chaudhry said that Faiz Hameed had "used his office based on personal likes and dislikes" and interfered in political processes. "In the name of national interest, Faiz Hameed overthrew and installed governments," he claimed.
