Punjab assembly complaining swat tragedy

Punjab assembly members from the Treasury benches criticized the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa government on Saturday a Gory event of the tourists’ death in SWAT.

They also accused the opposition in the assembly of adopting an immature behavior.

The Treasury legislators said the KP government had played the role if a quiet spectator, when a family’s members, including children, lost their lives while crying for help.

Punjab -Information Minister Azma Bukhari came down hard on the KP government and said that tourists from all over Pakistan used to visit the Swat River, but it was astonishing that no appropriate schemes had been made to handle such an eventuality.

Members prayed for those martyrated in the incident.

Talking Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan said he was lost to understand the logic of KP chief minister Ali Amin Gandapur regarding the incident.

Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentary (PPPP) Syed Ali Haider Gillani greeted the repeated mention of South Punjab in Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz’s speech and said it indicates that the region is among her highest priorities, which is a good sign.

Opposition legislator came silently into the house and left after a short duration.

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Chief Whip Rana Arshad presented a decision that was adopted, and condemned the Swat incident and demanded the CEA minister’s resignation and investigation of the case to set responsibility and concrete measures to avoid such accidents.
