Punjab is facing mixed weather as dust storms and rising heating region region

Parts of Punjab experienced various weather conditions such as rain, dust storms and cloudy sky swept through the province, where meteorologists warned of an impending temperature rise.

Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) said that although some northern districts, including Gujranwala and Rawalpindi divisions, can receive mild to moderate rain, most of the southern Punjab and the Lahore division reported probably dusty winds without significant rainfall, Express News reported.

The weather pattern follows a weakened rain system that, according to PMD, is expected to leave the country at the end of the day.

As a result, temperatures throughout the province are expected to climb steadily in the coming days.

“Areas receiving rainfall may witness short respite from the heat,” said a PMD official, “but the wider tendency indicates a gradual intensification of the heat.”

In Lahore, minimum temperatures were recorded at 24 ° C early Friday, with heights on the day expected to touch 40 ° C.

Dust -loaded winds are expected to contribute to discomfort, especially in urban centers.

While sporadic rain can offer temporary relief, forecasters warned residents to prepare for warmer conditions in front of us.
