Punjab’s Information Minister Azma Bokhari on Saturday announced two major infrastructure projects – the launch of a provincial airline named Air Punjab and Pakistan’s first bullet train from Lahore to Rawalpindi – while criticizing India’s leadership of tension in Kashmir.

When he spoke at a press conference in Lahore, Bokhari described the airline and the high -speed course as “historical initiatives” by a provincial government.

“Air Punjab will initially rent four aircraft and operate domestic. Within a year, we hope to acquire an international air license,” she said.

She also announced a bullet train project between Lahore and Rawalpindi stating that the route will cover the distance in just 2 hours and 20 minutes. Additional routes throughout the province are also planned.

“This is the first time in Pakistan’s history that a provincial government is launching its own airline and a bullet train,” Bokhari said. A glass train between Rawalpindi and Murree is also in pipeline, she added.

When Bokhari turned to the connections of India-Pakistan, Bokhari condemned Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and accused him of following “Israeli tactics” in Kashmir and tried to destabilize the region through false flag operations.

With reference to a recent incident in Indian-managed Kashmir’s Pahalgam area, she rejected Indian accusations of Pakistani involvement and called it a predicted tale of New Delhi.

“Modi tries to transform Kashmir into another Gaza. India is no longer a democracy – it has become the world’s largest murder for Muslims and minorities,” she said.

Bokhari remembered the Jaffar Express Terroris attack in Pakistan, saying that India had never condemned the incident despite clear evidence. She said Pakistan’s military had quickly neutralized attackers and saved hostages.

Sloping Indian water threats warned Bokhari that any attempt from India to stifle Pakistan’s water supply during the Indus Waters Treaty would be met with severe retaliation.

“The Indus Waters Treaty is not a tea to Modi to settle. Pakistan will respond to the first brick of any dam with stones,” she warned.

She felt Modi a “global terrorist” and claimed that every time he comes to power, Global Peace worsens.

“Warriors are not won by weapons, but by the spirit of victims. If the state declares jihad, each Pakistani soldier becomes,” she declared.

The Minister concluded by calling for national unity and emergency preparedness in the light of the Indian aggression reminiscent of Pakistan having reacted crucial to the past, including nuclear tests in 1998 after India’s provocations.
