Punjab Police Ex-Official involved in women’s trafficking during Umrah Visa

The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) immigration has successfully averted an attempt to smuggle four women to Saudi Arabia in the form of Umrah -Visa, which reveals a human trafficking network involving a former Punjab police officer.

The women were read at Karachi Airport after it was found that they were heading towards Saudi Arabia, where they were allegedly sent for forced labor, Express News reported.

The women identified as Shazia Bano, Zameera Azeem, Lubna and Sana Shehzadi had previously been sent to Gulf Kingdom under similar circumstances.

Studies revealed that the key figure behind human trafficking was a woman named Asiya, a former employee of the Punjab police who had funded the victims’ travel expenses.

In addition, a man named Waseem Gujjar, an agent, had relieved women’s stay and other expenses in Saudi -Arabia.

In another operation, FIA arrested two passengers, Ellis and Ryan, who arrived in Pakistan at emergency passports. The suspects arrived at the flight number SV700 and their emergency passports turned out to be fake.

The declaration noted that the emergency temples of the passports were fraudulent and the citizenship of the two suspects also proved to be questionable.

Both suspects were transferred to the Anti-Human Trade in Trade in Karachi for further lawsuits and investigations are ongoing.

Last month, the FIA ​​Immigration Team foiled a major operation for human trafficking at Islamabad Airport.
