Punjab Police supplies bulletproof vehicles to combat crime and terror

The Punjab police have now equipped its vehicles with bulletproof protection. According to the police spokesman, both single and double -cabin -safe vehicles will be used during special operations against criminal gangs.

These vehicles are also equipped with bulleting safety to protect border security staff from potential attacks by foreign terrorists.

Punjab’s Inspector General (IG) Dr. Usman Anwar revealed that the terrorist department also causes bulletproof vehicles to help with attacks against terrorists and antisocial elements. In addition, the Crime Control Department (CCD) also receives bulletproof vehicles.

IG added that bulletproof vehicles are also delivered to staff for specialty for reporting and handling sensitive affairs. The bulletproof vehicles are expected to accelerate actions against terrorists, criminals and antisocial elements.

These vehicles will also improve the operations against criminals in remote areas and provide better protection to border with security checks.

Previously, the Punjab police in Rahim Yar Khan have launched an intelligence-based search operation in the Katcha-adjacent areas, including Paka Chandia and Dawa Wala.

As part of this operation, two facilitators of Katcha criminals have been arrested and their hiding place has been torn.

The Punjab police spokesman said the search operation is specifically aimed at individuals suspected of helping Dacoits.

The operation is guided under the supervision of Asp Sadiqabad with Shos from KOT Sabzal, Bhong and Ahmedspur Lama with Elite commands and a significant police force.

Police use armored and bulletproof vehicles for the operation.

IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar emphasized that all facilitators of Katcha criminals must be brought to ensure long-term peace in the region.
