The lesson I take from today’s puzzle is always to try the obvious word in front of an unlikely. Choosing EXUDE before Elude put me on the edge and just leaves me a walk to get my last word, widow, without margin of error.
However, it was one of these days when I also made the wrong choice with thump instead of thumb. Sometimes magic happens, sometimes it’s torture. It’s Quordle, folk.
