ISLAMABAD:

The National Assembly session on Friday was suspended due to lack of quorum and business was adjourned until Monday evening.

As soon as the House was about to take up its business, MNA Mehboob Shah pointed out the quorum.

Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq ordered a quorum, but Parliament was found to lack the required strength.

As the quorum was incomplete, the chairman adjourned the discussion until Monday at 17.00.

No legislative business could be taken up, nor could the House debate national questions.
