Senior Pakistan Tehreek-E-Insaf (PTI) leader Shah Mehmood Qureshi has called on party leadership to focus on meaningful acts for the imprisoned followers instead of being distracted by internal mudsling and blaming games.

When he spoke with journalists by an anti-terrorism, where he was produced to participate in his case case in connection with the 9th of May 2023 riots, he said those who were in prison looked at the PTI management outside.

“I appeal to them to maintain unity among themselves and adopt decency as they differ with each other, adding that inmates were thrown when they saw the leaders point fingers at each other.

“There may be differences with someone, but these should be highlighted with decency,” he added.

“I’m prisoner number 805 and this number was directly given to me by PTI Foundation Chairman Imran Khan,” he said.

The PTI leader said he prefers to keep silent on the performance of Punjab chief minister Maryam Nawaz’s performance because his responsibility was not to ignite fire, but to turn it off.
