Lahore:

PML-N leader Khawaja Saad Rafique has raised questions about his own party’s government’s willingness to find a lasting solution to the crisis in Balochistan by adopting a wider vision.

In a post on X, Rafique, who has no government position in Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s Cabinet, described on March 11, hijacking Jaffarabad Express of Baloch paratists as a “great tragedy”.

He said the hijacking is a warning sign about the danger threatening over the state. Rafique stated that Balochistan has become a volcanic zone and the children from dissatisfied groups have-wisely or unconsciously fallen in the hands of Pakistan’s enemies.

He said with hidden and open support from external forces, armed separatist activities are rising day by day. However, the PML-N leader urged the powerful circles to try to find out the cause of this dissatisfaction.

“Why is it considered to discuss this question as a crime? Should we just see as the situation worsens? Should we continue to mourn and bury our dead? Or should we remain silent spectators while Pakistan is facing growing instability?” He asked.

He also asked if the management was ready to listen, solve the problem and find a long -term solution. He also asked who the state should fight and who it should negotiate with.

“When, where, and how will this critical decision be made? Who will present a lasting political and financial solution, and when will it happen?” He asked.

Dozens of armed terrorists on March 11, Peshawar bound Jaffarabad Express hijacked the Bolan district. Later, security forces launched an operation and killed all terrorists.
