Railways Beefs Up Train Safety

Pakistan Railways Police has issued instructions to all Superintendent of Police (SP) Railways to tighten the security of trains as well as at stations to avoid any inappropriate incident in Eidul Azha days.

In the direction of the Federal Minister of Railways Hanif Abbasi, the department had instructed all SPS railways to deputy adequate strength at the starting and entrance points of all railway stations and strictly clock to be performed by suspicious persons, an official in the Ministry told the app.

Pakistan Railways Police Commando Force would be deputy by vulnerable installations and by train, while staff for the disposal of bomb will also be kept on duty for search for luggage and passengers at railway stations.
